The Hash House site will be accessible to normal two-wheel drive cars (even though 90% of rogainers have all-wheel-drive Subarus). The last 20 km or so is on a 2WD-friendly dirt road.

Buses
Rogainers will be able to catch a bus from either Sydney or Canberra to/from the event. The buses are likely to leave around midday on Friday. Buses wil return to Sydney and canbera on Sunday afternoon, departing approximately 2:30 pm.

Note that the buses are nearly full, as of 28 Sept - get in quick!

We prefer if you can book you bus ticket with your entry (there will be a $ incentive!); however there may also be opportunity to book your bus ticket a little closer to the event.

Sydney bus details
Friday 9 Oct
The bus will make the following pick-ups:
11:30: International Airport
11:45: Sydney Domestic Airport
12:15: Central Station, Western Concourse, outside platform 1
12:45 Strathfield Station, Evertone Rd (northside of station)

Please ensure you are at the pick-up point 10 mins prior to the time. Note that the airport pick-up locations will be confirmed once we have your flight details.

Sunday 11th October
The Sydney bus will aim to leave site at 2pm, we cannot guarentee a return time to the airports, so pleaes plan on only arriving back at the airport around 7pm.

We will be in contact with those who book the Sydney bus, to ask for your pick-up location.

Canberra bus details
The bus will leave Canberra at 1pm from Cook shops, on Cook Place. There is free parking nearby and the number 40 bus goes straight past (approx 20 minutes from Canberra city).
